Competency Area Skills / Certifications:

Core SD-WAN Expertise- Hands-on in depth experience with Silver Peak (Aruba Edge Connect) design, deployment and configuration.
- Proficiency in product s specifications, Unity Orchestrator, Edge Connect appliances, and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).

Networking Fundamentals

- Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, and QoS.
- WAN optimization techniques. Design & Architecture- Ability to create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Migration planning for large-scale WAN transformations. Security Integration- SD-WAN integration with firewalls and cloud security.
- Encryption standards and secure routing policies. Certifications- Silver Peak ASE / Aruba Certified Edge Professional (ACEP).
- Advanced networking certification (e.g., CCNP/CCIE).

Cloud Integration

- Experience with AWS, Azure, and cloud-onramp solutions.
- Familiarity with Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, VPN connectivity.

Automation & Orchestration

- Knowledge of Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for automation.
- Ability to create reusable templates and scripts. | | | Performance Optimization | - Traffic engineering and segmentation strategies.
- Application-aware routing. | | | Additional Certifications | - AWS/Azure Networking Specialty.
Aruba Advanced SD-WAN certifications. - Monitoring & Analytics

- Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools.

Project Management

- Exposure to Agile or ITIL frameworks.
- Ability to manage timelines and stakeholders effectively.
