Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect the organization''s information systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security events, identify vulnerabilities, investigate incidents, and implement security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational assets.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and events using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
Analyze security incidents, investigate threats, and perform root cause analysis.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
Monitor network traffic and identify suspicious or malicious activities.
Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls.
Implement and maintain endpoint, network, and cloud security solutions.
Support incident response, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and compliance with security best practices.
Assist in security audits, compliance assessments, and regulatory reporting.
Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Provide cybersecurity awareness and best practice guidance to employees.
Document security findings, incident reports, and remediation actions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT security role.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and threat detection.
Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
Proficiency in networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment tools.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
