Java Backend Developer with AI exp-Full time-Remote-8 Years exp

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Generative AI integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable backend systems, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and developing AI-powered enterprise applications. This role requires strong backend engineering skills combined with experience in cloud-native development and modern AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and production-ready backend services.

Generative AI & LLM Integration

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
• Develop AI-powered services using Spring AI, LangChain4j, or similar Java AI frameworks.
• Build conversational AI, intelligent assistants, and AI-enabled business workflows.
• Integrate AI platform APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Implement prompt engineering techniques for enterprise AI use cases.

RAG & AI Agents

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop autonomous AI Agents capable of interacting with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Integrate vector search capabilities using embeddings and semantic search.
• Build AI workflows that combine enterprise knowledge bases with LLMs.
• Optimize AI response quality, latency, and scalability.

Database & Data Management

• Design and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Develop high-performance SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with NoSQL and Vector Databases including:
  • Pinecone
  • Elasticsearch
  • MongoDB
