Oracle Developer – PL/SQL & Informatica
Introduction:
This role is for an Oracle Developer with expertise in PL/SQL and Informatica. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Oracle databases, writing complex PL/SQL queries, optimizing SQL queries, and developing ETL processes using Informatica. This position is based in Chicago, IL and requires 5 days onsite presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle databases and applications
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries
- Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica
- Perform database design, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for performance tuning
- Work on shell scripting for automation
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- 5-10 years of Oracle development experience using PL/SQL
- 2-3 years of hands-on Informatica development experience
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting skills
- Experience with query analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and large-scale data processing
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Python programming language
- Experience with disaster recovery processes
- Working knowledge of operational data stores
- Experience in audit-sensitive environments
