About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established organization in the energy industry, is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Analyst to join their growing IT organization. This is a highly visible role responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow CMDB and Configuration Management program.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Configuration Management, Asset Management, and ITIL processes. This opportunity offers the chance to shape the long-term direction of configuration management while improving data quality, operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery across the enterprise.

What You\'ll Do
\\n

Lead the Configuration Management program and establish the long-term CMDB strategy, roadmap, governance, and standards within ServiceNow.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of CMDB data through audits, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with ITSM leaders, process owners, and stakeholders to strengthen Configuration, Change, and Asset Management practices.
Develop and maintain governance frameworks, naming conventions, data standards, and CMDB health metrics.
Create dashboards, reporting, and automation solutions that provide visibility into CMDB performance, operational risks, and data quality.
Drive process improvements that enhance service delivery, compliance, operational efficiency, and IT asset visibility.
Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor for ServiceNow CMDB and Configuration Management best practices.

What We\'re Looking For
\\n

7+ years of Configuration Management and CMDB experience within large enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, and related platform capabilities.
Experience with IT Asset Management and maintaining relationships between configuration items and assets.
Proven success developing CMDB strategies, governance models, standards, and data quality programs.
Strong knowledge of ITIL-based Change, Configuration, and Asset Management processes.
Experience supporting audits, compliance initiatives, and operational controls.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
ServiceNow CMDB (CIS-CMDB/CIS-Discovery) and CSA certifications highly preferred.
Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
