Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to support and maintain mission-critical Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, and security. This is a fully onsite opportunity in Sacramento, CA, with a virtual interview process.

Roles & Responsibilities

Must have 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certification is highly preferred. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification is a plus.
Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases in development, testing, and production environments.
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Database software and related components.
Perform database backup, recovery, cloning, and disaster recovery using RMAN and Data Guard.
Monitor database health, storage, and performance, implementing tuning strategies for optimal efficiency.
Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, and high-availability configurations to ensure maximum uptime.
Troubleshoot database issues, analyze root causes, and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
Implement database security, user management, auditing, and compliance best practices.
Automate routine database administration tasks using Shell scripting or similar automation tools.
Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders during deployments and database changes.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
