Pay Range:$60.27-$89.00 Per Hr

Job Description:
This role is set in a globally regulated environment focusing on data governance within a domain-oriented model. 
Based in Madison, WI, this contract position involves establishing governance frameworks and ensuring secure and consistent data use. 
Experience with modern data technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Define and implement data governance strategies aligned with domain-based architecture.
Establish a model balancing domain autonomy with enterprise standards.
Ensure data quality standards and expectations are met and embedded into data pipelines.
Lead development of enterprise business glossaries and metadata standards.
Collaborate with teams to ensure secure and compliant data access.

Qualifications
8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data management.
3 years leading data governance or stewardship initiatives.
Experience in domain-oriented or Data Mesh environments.
Strong understanding of modern data platforms and distributed ownership models.
Experience in regulated, global environments.
