Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr Analytics Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable manufacturing data solutions. This role focuses on developing data pipelines, transformation models, and analytics-ready data products using Snowflake and DBT. The ideal candidate will have strong data architecture, CI/CD, data quality, and performance optimization skills, with an interest in enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions.

Key Technical Skills

• Snowflake, including Cortex AI and Snowflake AI capabilities
• DBT and Matillion (ETL/ELT)
• Dimensional Modeling, Star Schemas, and Data Vault 2.0
• GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
• SQL, MSSQL, and REST APIs
• Power BI and semantic data layers
• Data quality, governance, monitoring, and observability
• Snowflake performance tuning and optimization
• Python scripting and data integration

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Matillion.
• Develop and optimize dimensional models, Data Vault 2.0 architecture, and analytics-ready data layers.
• Implement CI/CD workflows, source control, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Establish data quality controls, monitoring, logging, and governance standards.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, SQL queries, and compute utilization.
• Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop secure, well-governed data products that support Power BI reporting, advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of data engineering and/or analytics engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
• Experience integrating data from MSSQL, REST APIs, and enterprise data sources.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 and manufacturing data, including BOMs, inventory, work orders, supply chain, quality, and production metrics.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Snowpark, and AI agents.
• Experience with Snowflake governance, role-based access controls, and AI-ready data products.
• Knowledge of ODBC, ADO, JDBC, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
• Experience with Power BI, streaming data, machine interfaces, and Python-based integrations.
