We''''re looking for a DevOps Team Lead to drive the evolution of our CI/CD ecosystem, cloud-native tooling, and automation strategy while leading a talented team of DevOps engineers.

In this role, you''''ll combine hands-on technical leadership with people leadership, helping shape the future of our software delivery platform. You''''ll work closely with engineering teams to modernize infrastructure, automate development workflows, improve system reliability, and champion DevOps best practices across the organization.

What You''''ll Do

Lead Our DevOps Technology Strategy

Define and execute the technical roadmap for our DevOps platform and software delivery ecosystem.

  • Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and continuous delivery.
  • Establish engineering standards, architecture, and best practices that improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.

Build and Evolve Our Automation Platform

  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enhance automated build, test, deployment, and release processes to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality.
  • Continuously improve engineering workflows through automation and process optimization.

Own the DevOps Technology Stack

You''''ll work with technologies including:

  • CI/CD: TeamCity
  • Containerization: Docker
  • Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Kotlin DSL
  • Build Systems: CMake, Yocto
  • Scripting & Automation: Python
  • Linux-based development and build environments
  • Automated testing and release pipelines

Experience with additional cloud, container orchestration, observability, or DevSecOps technologies is a plus.

Improve Reliability and Operational Excellence

  • Monitor build and deployment health across engineering systems.
  • Analyze build and test data to identify trends, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve pipeline stability.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

Champion DevSecOps

  • Integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes align with security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Promote secure automation and engineering best practices.

Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Prioritize initiatives, manage project delivery, and balance team workloads.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Partner Across Engineering

  • Collaborate with software, QA, and platform engineering teams to improve the developer experience.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between engineering groups, helping align tools, processes, and delivery practices across the organization.

What You''''ll Bring

Experience


  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.


Technical Expertise

Strong experience with several of the following technologies:


  • CI/CD platforms (TeamCity preferred)
  • Docker and containerized development environments
  • Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Kotlin DSL
  • Python scripting and automation
  • Build systems including CMake and Yocto
  • Linux administration and automation
  • Build optimization, deployment automation, and release engineering
  • Debugging complex build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
  • Performance monitoring, log analysis, and root cause analysis


Leadership Skills

Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence engineering direction.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, delegate effectively, and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.


Education

Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
