As the Director of Product Management, you will join the leadership team at a pivotal moment of expansion and integration. This is a "player-coach" role designed for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable diving into technical execution. For the first year, you will act as a high-level individual contributor, owning the product roadmap and driving the delivery of core AI capabilities. As the platform scales, you will pivot to recruiting and building out a dedicated product organization, serving as a bridge between the engineering teams and executive leadership to align product vision with large-scale market opportunities.
Requirements - 10+ years of Product Management experience, specifically within B2B SaaS and highly regulated industries such as Fintech or Insurtech.
- Deep technical fluency regarding APIs, data pipelines, and system-level trade-offs, with practical experience deploying AI/ML applications.
- Proven leadership history, including experience building or scaling product teams, while maintaining a willingness to be hands-on in an early-stage environment.
- Strong bias for action, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain high quality in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of aligning C-suite executives and technical engineers on complex requirements.
Responsibilities - Define and execute the product vision in partnership with the executive team, ensuring the roadmap supports the parent company's massive transactional ecosystem.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of APIs, data models, and AI-driven workflows as the primary individual contributor for major initiatives.
- Oversee AI innovation, specifically the development of tools for automated data extraction and "opportunity mining" within legacy books of business.
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless integration and product adoption.
- Establish product governance, including maintaining organized backlogs, high-quality documentation, and clear performance metrics.
- Lead future organizational growth, setting the operational foundation to hire and mentor a full product team within the next year.
The salary range for this position is
$170,000 - $220,000+, supplemented by a compensation package that may include equity and performance incentives.
