Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with strong Python expertise to lead the design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of hands-on development experience, strong AWS exposure, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Developer with 11+ years experience in Application development using Java, J2EE and AWS technologies
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of front-end and backend solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
- Lead the evaluation and selection of software, platforms, and technologies that best meet the organization's needs.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends
- Experience developing API by following Web Services and JSON Patterns
- Experience of writing unit tests and Functional tests
- Proficiency in RDBMS such as DB2 or Oracle and NoSQL databases such as Mongo or DynamoDB
- Excellent Debugging skills
- Knowledge of Messaging frameworks like Kafka
- Design and Development of Batch Processing
- Experience facilitating code reviews, code quality checks
- Experience working with Product Owners to plan future work for the team
- Strong communication, Presentation, and organization skills.
- Eagerness to experiment with new technologies and innovative ways to solve problems
- Must effectively collaborate with developers and other relevant team members.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development
- Strong Python development experience
- Minimum 5 years of onsite client-facing experience
- Bachelor s degree in technology or related field
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services
Preferred Skills:
- Core Technologies: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Python
- Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
- API Development: RESTful Web Services, JSON-based integrations
- Databases: DB2, Oracle (RDBMS), MongoDB, DynamoDB (NoSQL)
- Messaging: Kafka or similar messaging frameworks
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred.
