Job Summary
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and execute effective channel strategies to cultivate sales growth within your assigned territory. You will manage existing channel partners and foster long-lasting relationships to maintain consistent revenue.
The Regional Sales Manager will also identify and engage potential channel partners and leverage market and competitor data to attract new business.
Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving or exceeding annual sales and orders growth for the assigned region, in line with business revenue growth objectives.
Develop channel sales strategies, key account plans, and relationships to deliver on assigned growth tactics for the region.
Establish and adhere to an annual growth plan aligned with business growth strategies.
Engage existing channel partners by providing applications knowledge, pricing, and support to execute orders.
Support channel partners in developing and delivering technical and commercial quotations for their end markets.
Develop account plans for each channel partner with annual goals, objectives, and quotas to support business growth strategies.
Identify gaps in regional coverage, prioritize opportunities, and engage new channel partners to fill those gaps.
Lead the onboarding of new channel partners, ensuring a smooth and immediate transition to product platforms while continuously building effective relationships.
Log all calls and activities in HubSpot.
Manage the sales pipeline and track customer interactions in HubSpot.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree preferred.
Minimum 7+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in pump manufacturing or distributor management.
Experience within municipal and industrial pump markets is helpful.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory, attend industry trade shows, and travel to company headquarters when required.
Knowledge of electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels.
Experience working within a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in HubSpot or a similar CRM system, including logging call activity, tracking customer interactions, and managing the sales pipeline.
Experience with Power BI and ERP software preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, relationship management, and negotiation.
Clean driving record.
