Summary

Please note that this is a 12-months contract position.

Please note that the position can be remote/hybrid however need to be within driving distance to Raritan, NJ (possibly New Brunswick or Titusville, NJ).

Travel not required to other site - however if it does come up for driving to other sites, mileage would be reimbursed.

Role is filling in for a leave of absence, need a strong candidate
Bachelor's degree required
Work with VP of Supply Chain and Procurement to do analytical work but will help guide the team
Must be able to articulate any risks and be able to communicate that to stakeholders
Must have professional behavior
This will be more "presentation and deck building" type of skills
Proficient in Excel, must be able to review analytics
Must have PowerPoint skills, need to be able to transfer data in Excel sheets into slides
At least 8 years of experience
Must be able to look at data and understand it, how does it impact the business, and what can be done to be proactive
Will be managing 3 people's work (not managing them), ensuring the processes are correct
Occasionally visit the Raritan office for meetings
May drive to some of the other NJ sites if needed, possibly a PA site (if needed)
Will be very hands on for Q3 review, will be helping with data deck
Must have business acumen in Supply Chain

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field
An advanced degree or certifications such as MBA, CPA, or CMA is preferred
A minimum of 8 years of Finance or related business experience is required
Previous Supply Chain experience is required; familiarity with cost accounting is preferred
Strong demonstrable experience working at a managerial level within a similarly large/complex matrix organizational infrastructure
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is required
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and accounting knowledge is required
The ability to work through ambiguous situations and manage competing demands is required
Influence and effectively connect with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, is required
Drive process harmonization and improvement and motivate others to embrace change is required

The primary location for this role is Raritan, NJ. However, the candidate can also be based out of another NJ location. The ability to travel (driving) up to 10% of the time may be required, maybe to other NJ sites or a PA site.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and shape strategy, manage risk and opportunities, develop and support the delivery of financial targets, and lead the value creation agenda.
Lead and influence cross functional business partners including Procurement; Supply Chain; and cross functional Finance teams.
Coordinate Source planning and closing activities, consolidate and report results, and communicate risks and opportunities across the internal team.
Deliver monthly financial close and accounting related activities for Procurement transactions, including managing our purchase price variances for raw materials.
Develop targets while also providing saving project validations, NPV models, and supplier financial risks assessments for suppliers across MedTech.
Provide financial support for Jabil Retained Supplier Spend.
Foster a collaborative, agile, Credo- and Purpose-driven culture and provide coaching to develop team members, artfully pairing individual needs with business opportunities.
Work continuously across the Source and Supply Chain Finance teams to reduce complexity and redundancy, standardize and harmonize activities and accounting treatments, and improve and automate processes; specifically, proactively participate in the End-to-End Orchestration and SigniFi journeys within SC Finance
Actively review and influence pre-negotiation strategies and supply agreements to align with preferred terms; provide accurate transparent input on COGs to drive the best position for the internal team.
Coordinate annual standard cost development with business partners; provide input and influence into sourcing and costing of materials for innovative new product launches.
Ensure compliance with respect to Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs), Construction-in-Process (CIP), and general accounting and business policies and procedures.
Progress our GenAI adoption journey integrating into commentary generation, market intelligence, forecasting process, and generating strategic insights.

Description:

The Internal Team is recruiting a candidate to provide financial leadership and guidance to MT Sourcing. This position is a contractor role with an expected assignment duration from February through September. The primary location for this role is Raritan, NJ, with alternatives at New Brunswick, NJ and Titusville, NJ. In this role, the candidate will partner closely with Procurement and Finance leaders to guide procurement strategies, business planning, and cost optimization.
