Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP ABAP solutions across various SAP modules. You will work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver high‑quality developments aligned with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities
1. Development & Customization

Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs including:

Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services)
Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms
Dialog programming and Module Pool development


Build and optimize ABAP Objects (OO ABAP) and modern ABAP constructs.

2. System Integration

Develop and maintain data interfaces between SAP and non‑SAP systems.
Work with middleware tools (e.g., PI/PO, CPI) when required.
Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, PP, HR, etc.

3. Performance Optimization

Perform code optimization and tuning for efficient performance.
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

4. Collaboration & Support

Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and patch implementations.
Document technical specifications (TSD), unit test scripts, and solution designs.

5. Best Practices & Compliance

Follow SAP development guidelines and coding standards.
Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and audit requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
3–8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong proficiency in:

ABAP Objects (OOABAP)
CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP on HANA concepts
OData services and SAP Gateway
Debugging and performance tuning


Experience working with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration is a plus.
Good understanding of SAP functional processes (any module exposure preferred).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
