Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes (bare metal), OpenStack, and Infrastructure Automation. This role focuses on building, upgrading, and automating platform infrastructure from the ground up.

This is not a CI/CD-focused DevOps role. We are looking for a hands-on infrastructure engineer with strong experience in cluster architecture, OpenStack core components, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and set up Kubernetes clusters from scratch (bare metal environment)

• Manage cluster lifecycle including upgrades, scaling, and automation

• Work extensively with OpenStack (Neutron & Nova) components

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform

• Develop automation scripts using Python

• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana

• Support platform reliability, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to improve automation workflows

Required Skills (Must Have)

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes

• Experience setting up Kubernetes clusters from scratch

• Experience with bare metal Kubernetes deployments

• Strong experience with Python scripting

• Hands-on experience with Terraform

• Deep knowledge of OpenStack (Neutron & Nova)

• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana

• Experience with infrastructure upgrades and automation workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rancher Kubernetes

• Experience with Ansible

• Golang experience

• Experience in private cloud or large-scale infrastructure environments
