Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to support a fast-moving government project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building and operating production-grade applications in cloud environments, with a focus on scalable, distributed systems.

This is an onsite role based in McLean, VA, requiring candidates to be local or within a 2-hour driving distance and able to relocate quickly if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade full-stack applications using Golang
• Build and support distributed systems leveraging microservices or serverless architectures
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for scalable data solutions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting full-stack applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with distributed architectures (microservices or serverless) in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in McLean, VA
