About the Role

We are seeking a senior SAP Commerce Architect with deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud, Spartacus, and SmartEdit. This role will lead large-scale SAP Commerce site redesign initiatives, driving headless commerce architecture, API strategy, performance optimization, and scalable enterprise implementations.

The ideal candidate brings strong architectural leadership, hands-on technical depth, and the ability to align business strategy, UX design, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for SAP Commerce (Hybris) implementations
• Design and implement headless commerce architecture using Spartacus
• Optimize SmartEdit performance and content management workflows
• Define and enhance OCC and Content API strategies
• Lead large-scale site redesign and modernization initiatives
• Establish performance tuning, scalability, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, build pipelines, and cloud deployments
• Provide architectural governance and mentor development teams
• Align technical architecture with business and UX objectives

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP Commerce (Hybris) experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Spartacus storefront (Angular-based)
• Deep expertise in SmartEdit configuration and performance optimization
• Experience designing headless and API-first commerce architectures
• Strong knowledge of OCC APIs and integration patterns
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Proven leadership on enterprise-scale commerce transformations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Integration experience with CMS, PIM, OMS, and third-party systems
• Performance testing and load optimization expertise
• Experience leading global or multi-site commerce implementations
