About the RoleWe are seeking a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Analyst to help identify, assess, and mitigate risks across defense program supply chains. In this role, you'll analyze complex systems, evaluate supplier security practices, and provide insights that support critical business and defense decisions.
What You'll Do- Lead vulnerability identification efforts by analyzing systems, architectures, and programs to identify critical components and high-risk areas.
- Conduct independent assessments of supplier security practices to ensure compliance with federal and organizational standards.
- Synthesize complex risk data and present clear insights to stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
- Monitor changes affecting supply chain risk, quality, resilience, and compliance; escalate risks as needed.
- Evaluate enterprise and supplier-level risks, identifying systemic issues and recommending improvements.
- Enhance SCRM frameworks using industry best practices, stakeholder feedback, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of supplier assessments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and security teams to align SCRM processes with organizational goals.
- Analyze multi-source data to identify trends in supplier performance, quality issues, and vulnerabilities; develop mitigation strategies.
- Support evolving business needs with additional responsibilities as required.
- Obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a defense or related environment
- Experience with supply chain risk management, compliance, or security programs
Preferred Qualifications- Strong knowledge of software supply chain risks and the defense industrial base
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 (SCRM controls) and compliance documentation
- Familiarity with DFARS, FAR, TAA, and supply chain regulations (e.g., NDAA 889, 1260H, country-of-origin risk)
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 quality standards
- Ability to design and improve workflows, processes, and risk management frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentations
