Proxy Product Owner to serve as the "Strategic Voice of the Client" within a large, matrixed organizational structure. You will act as the commercial bridge between our global development team and a complex web of corporate stakeholders.
Your mission is to ensure that the digital parts-shopping experience we build on Adobe Commerce and AEM aligns with enterprise-wide standards, navigates internal dependencies, and delivers a seamless journey for the end user. You are the air-traffic controller for product requirements, ensuring that technical progress is never stalled by organizational silos or misaligned business units.
Project: Large ecomm build for our client. Three global pods running simultaneously
• Critical client proxy role for project.
• Auto and Adobe commerce/ecosystem experience required.
• Nice to have: motor parts/parts sales/parts and accessories experience, commerce experience.
• Understands requirements/functionalities, tech at a high level, making key business decisions, value actualization, prioritization, etc
• Some project mgmt. skillsets needed: organization/coordination, communicative
• Experience in Management Consulting or an agency setting, acting as a proxy for high-profile enterprise clients.
• Experience managing third-party vendor relationships for automotive data or logistics services.
• 5+ years of experience as a PO or Strategic Lead in a large, matrixed organization. You must be an expert at managing "influence without authority."
• Automotive Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Automotive Aftermarket. You know that a "part" is a data-heavy asset with unique fitment, core charges, and shipping restrictions.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Proven ability to say "no" to low-value stakeholder requests to protect the product’s integrity and the project’s budget.
• Business-First Mindset: While you are "tech-savvy," your primary value is in your ability to make commercial decisions that drive AOV (Average Order Value) and reduce return rates.
• Adobe Ecosystem Literacy: Functional (non-technical) knowledge of Adobe Commerce and AEM, specifically how they must "shake hands" to create a premium brand experience.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other frameworks designed for cross-departmental coordination.
