We have an immediate opening for a Elasticsearch / Spark / Scala Developer with strong hands-on experience to support a long-term engagement with our client. Must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Role: Elasticsearch / Spark / Scala Developer

Experience: 5+ years of experience

Location: Irving, Dallas, TX

Job Description:

4 to 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering / search platform development.

Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, mappings, analysers, query DSL).

Working knowledge of ES|QL for querying and analysing data within Elasticsearch.

Solid experience with Apache Spark (batch and/or streaming) for large-scale data processing.

Proficiency in Scala for building data pipelines and Spark applications.

Understanding of distributed systems, cluster performance tuning, and data partitioning strategies.

Experience with the broader Elastic Stack (Logstash, Kibana, Beats) is a plus.

Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and version control (Git) preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
