Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Job Location: San Jose, CA

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $80hr - $85hr

Serve as the subject matter expert in SAP S4H financial applications and analytics.
Define and drive the product roadmap to address future business needs and opportunities.
Identify and prioritize growth opportunities using data, customer insights, competitive analysis, and industry-standard methodologies.
Work together with collaborators from the finance business unit to ensure product solutions meet business requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, operations, and analytics to guide finance products from conception to launch.
Build arguments outlining the projected impact for each initiative to be prioritized on the roadmap.
Write detailed product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to be used by engineering and design teams.
Build impactful insights and convey recommendations to executives and other stakeholders.
Coordinate the full product lifecycle from design and development to implementation and ongoing optimization.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in SAP S4H Finance applications or systems.
Proven experience directing all aspects of a product lifecycle from development to launch and support.
Strong background in SAP S/4HANA or ECC Finance, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Databricks, and other analytical systems.
Experience designing and implementing SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FICA, and integration with Treasury modules.
Experience in software product launches and working across multiple teams to drive product success.

Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles and subscription business process models.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and partner with development teams to build product capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use multiple data sources to support business decisions.
Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

Define and drive the product roadmap aligned with finance business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide finance products from conception to launch.
Build and present business cases outlining projected impact for initiatives.
Develop detailed product requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
Coordinate the complete product lifecycle including development, implementation, and optimization.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build credibility and trust across multiple teams.
Ability to present effectively at the executive level and communicate complex ideas clearly.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with senior leadership.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to drive initiatives end-to-end with minimal supervision.
Strategic problem-solving ability and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Passion for problem-solving and innovation in financial applications.
