Job Details

This role leads the design and delivery of full stack applications, owning both frontend and backend architecture while driving performance, scalability, and code quality. You will operate as a hands-on technical leader, guiding engineering efforts while contributing directly to development.

Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite) | Contract-to-hire (6 months)

Technical Leadership & System Ownership

Lead end-to-end development across frontend and backend systems
Architect scalable applications using React, NodeJS, and cloud services
Design APIs supporting flexible, backward-compatible integrations
Drive system performance, scalability, and production reliability
Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis
Guide engineering decisions across infrastructure and application layers

Engineering Execution & Technical Depth

Build and maintain high-quality code using modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop responsive UI components integrated with backend services
Implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
Work with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Leverage AWS services across application and infrastructure layers
Maintain version control and workflows using Git/GitHub
Enforce unit testing standards and functional test coverage
Utilize modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn)
