In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives supporting enterprise Cybersecurity applications and technology solutions. This role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and supporting secure applications that enable cybersecurity operations and risk management capabilities. The successful candidate will contribute to application architecture, secure software delivery, API development, CI/CD enablement, cloud-native deployment patterns, and integration of cybersecurity best practices into enterprise software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and development of cybersecurity applications.
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions.
- Build high quality software using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Integrate secure coding practices and partner with cybersecurity teams on risk mitigation.
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives.
- Develop APIs and data integrations using GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL (MSSQL preferred).
- Support CI/CD delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Deploy and operate solutions on Kubernetes using configuration as code (YAML/TOML).
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript and related frameworks (Node.js, React, TypeScript, .NET).
- Experience developing enterprise-scale applications and APIs.
- Experience working in secure and regulated technology environments.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Next.js, secure coding tools (Black Duck, Checkmarx), and artifact repositories (Artifactory/Nexus).
- Experience with MongoDB (MQL), SQL, GraphQL, and database CLI tools.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and packaging tools such as npm/Yarn.
- Python proficiency and basic Java familiarity (for automation support).
- Experience with large data sets, system administration, or networking fundamentals.
- Exposure to languages such as Go, Rust, C, or C++.
- Experience with Harness or enterprise UI component libraries (e.g., Kendo for React).
- Familiarity with NoSQL, Postgres, or Firestore.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a nice-to-have.
