Position Summary

Engineers systems administration solutions for project and operational needs, including server installation/configuration, virtualization (VMware, KVM), storage management (NetApp, Dell/EMC, PureStorage), infra automation (Ansible), and network equipment management. Handles ongoing operations/support, maintenance, and after-hours/weekend support as required.

Responsibilities

Install/rebuild servers; configure hardware, storage, and virtualization (VMware, KVM)
Storage provisioning, monitoring, backup/recovery, access control (NetApp, Pure Storage)
Infra automation via Ansible; network equipment management (Cisco, Mellanox)
Daily monitoring, log review, security patching across Linux, Windows, VMware
Tier III support; manage Jira, Git, LDAP, Jenkins; performance tuning
After-hours/weekend support as required

Requirements

High skill in VMware admin, Jenkins, Git, DevOps tool administration
Linux+/RHCSA/RHCE preferred; high skill managing storage servers (NetApp, Pure Storage)
7+ years Linux administration: scripting, cron, log analysis, user/group management
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certification required
Able to lift 50 lbs; rack-and-stack servers between DC, colocation, and labs
