Data Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on data engineering, analytics, AI/ML integration, and transforming complex data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines.
• Manage Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL/PL/SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
• Build Power BI-ready datasets, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities using Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI.
• Implement data governance, quality, and security using Microsoft Purview and Entra ID.
• Develop predictive analytics models and optimize data performance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in enterprise data analytics and data engineering.
• Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and cloud data warehousing.
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data modeling, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI and generative AI integration.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
