Job Summary:
- Release DevOps Environment Management.
- Accountable to ensure appropriate change and release standards technology and processes are followed to facilitate delivery for the regular programme increments Release Managers communicate and collaborate with multiple application teams to ensure alignment in strategy build the IT release calendar and manage risks that affect release scope and schedule Finally produce weekly release reporting.
- Environment Management Accountable for coordinating environment alignment end to end across technology platforms governance function to ensure environments adequately represent anticipated production state for as at time of each release creation of Deployment Plan and coordinating execution of Deployment activities.
- Create complex project plans perform impact analyses solve work high impact problems projects and provide resolutions.
- Design testing approaches complex processes reporting streams and create automation of repetitive tasks.
- Review requirement documents define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary.
- Provide technical strategic direction and act as advisor coach to lower level analysts.
- Develop projects required for design of metrics analytical tools benchmarking activities and best practices.
- Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding company, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Skills:
- Must Have Release DevOps Environment Management experience.
- Must Have Experience with DevOps CI CD deployment of Docker images in Kubernetes K8s based Enterprise Containerized environments.
- Must Have Experience with requirements defect management tools like JIRA source code management tools like bit bucket Change management Tools like ServiceNow build and Release management Tools like Maven CI CD toolset and Production Infrastructure monitoring tools like AppD.
- Must Have Experience in creating Project plans for complex migrations and deployments using tools like MS Project MS Excel etc.
- Must Have Infrastructure Experience in creating Project plans for complex migrations and upgrades.
- Must Have Good understanding of database performance management and tuning concepts while working with Application developers and Database administrators and architecture engineering teams.
- Must Have experience writing Linux shell scripts for automation batch job Scheduling Autosys JIL etc.
- Must Have Infrastructure Capacity planning monitoring reporting working with Infrastructure teams to have capacity provisioned timely for critical projects.
- Must Have Good understanding and Experience with Infrastructure security Single Signon Certificates JWT IAM etc.
Good to have:
- Good understanding of public AWS or Google Cloud Platform private Hybrid cloud infrastructures specifically in the context of anticipated migration from On-prem Enterprise Containerized environments to Cloud.
