Power Platform Developer – Power Apps, Power Automate & Power BI

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Microsoft Power Platform Developer with practical experience across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role will support a growing portfolio of business applications, workflow automations, and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate can work independently, translate business needs into working solutions, and move comfortably between application development, automation, dashboards, and support requests. You will contribute to new development and enhance solutions already in use, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support Power Apps applications, including canvas and/or model-driven apps.

• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, data movement, and business process automation.

• Create and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards using Excel and other business data sources.

• Use Power Query to clean and transform data, develop data models, and create DAX calculations for business reporting.

• Connect applications, workflows, and reports to relevant data sources using Power Platform connectors.

• Work with business users to clarify requirements, define reporting metrics, and deliver practical solutions.

• Troubleshoot application issues, workflow failures, and reporting or data refresh problems.

• Test, document, deploy, and support changes while managing multiple requests and shifting priorities.

• Collaborate with application, AI, and reporting specialists to support delivery across the team.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Experience building or enhancing business applications, automated workflows, and reports.

• Working knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with connectors, data integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to own assigned work independently, from requirements through implementation and support.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

• Flexibility to switch between application, automation, and reporting tasks as priorities change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, including assisting with agent development or integration.

• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 integrations.

• Experience improving manual Excel-based processes through applications, automation, and reporting.
