Summary

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fusion 360 CAD Modeler to translate early test concepts into production ready test fixtures and scalable test systems. This role partners closely with engineering project leads and test owners to refine requirements, explore design options, and deliver manufacturable, cost-effective fixture solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical design skills with hands on assembly experience and a practical understanding of test system scalability.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 for mechanical design and 3D modeling
Strong foundation in mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and manufacturability
Experience creating BOMs and cost estimates for mechanical assemblies
Hands on experience assembling mechanical fixtures or test equipment
Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical, buildable solutions
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with engineering leads

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing test fixtures or lab automation equipment
Familiarity with scaling test systems across multiple stations or labs
Experience sourcing components and working with vendors or machine shops
Exposure to rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing, quick turn machining)
