The Tech Lead will be based in the United States and will work closely with distributed team members in lower-cost regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for the Burn-in Tool and Support Tools codebase.

  • Mentor and guide a team of 3 engineers, distributing work and unblocking technical issues.
  • Design and build tooling in Python/Golang for automated burn-in testing and infrastructure validation.
  • Drive development of networking diagnostics and monitoring tooling for TCP/RDMA-based systems.
  • Debug complex, low-level networking and system issues across Linux environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (hardware, infra, QA) to define tooling requirements and roadmap.

  • Deep networking expertise, including:
  • Hands-on experience with TCP and RDMA protocols.
  • Ability to debug complex networking issues in production/lab environments.
  • Experience building or working with networking monitoring/observability tooling.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux systems internals and administration.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams or projects as a technical lead.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable working with a globally distributed team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with hardware burn-in / stress-testing tools.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
  • Prior experience in storage, systems, or infrastructure engineering teams.

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of overall software/systems engineering experience.
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership or tech lead capacity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
