Summary

7 years or more of experience in private markets fund accounting, finance operations, or business analysis within financial services.

Proficiency in private equity accounting, NAV reporting, reconciliations, financial statements, investor allocations, and fund administration.

Experience with SQL, Snowflake, MySQL, Python, Pandas, PySpark, Advanced Excel, Power Query, and VBA.

Experience with Allvue, Investran, Geneva, Yardi, fund accounting platforms, data integrations, and accounting system implementations.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Appian, UAT, data lineage, ASC 946, ILPA reporting, and AI-assisted tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Translate private markets accounting and finance needs into functional specifications, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

Analyze and improve NAV, reconciliation, financial reporting, capital activity, investor allocation, and fund administration workflows.

Define data integration, ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, calculation, exception handling, and audit-trail requirements.

Coordinate finance and technology teams through requirements workshops, backlog management, UAT, defect resolution, and releases.

Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes, strengthen data controls, reduce reconciliation breaks, and improve reporting accuracy.

Develop process maps, KPI reporting, business cases, implementation documentation, and executive-ready recommendations.
