Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MCP Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrations supporting AI-powered applications and intelligent automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Python backend development experience, hands-on expertise in MCP architecture, LLM integrations, API development, and cloud-native application engineering.

The developer will collaborate with AI architects, platform engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to enable secure, scalable communication between enterprise systems, data sources, and AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy MCP servers using Python and MCP SDKs.

  • Build MCP tools, resources, and prompts for enterprise AI applications.

  • Integrate MCP servers with LLM-based applications and AI agents.

  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend microservices using Python and FastAPI.

  • Implement secure access to enterprise APIs, databases, and internal services.

  • Support MCP client-server interactions, tool discovery, and tool execution.

  • Implement authentication, authorization, secrets management, and audit logging.

  • Integrate with AWS services and enterprise cloud infrastructure.

  • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for MCP integrations.

  • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, security, and production integration issues.

  • Collaborate with AI engineering teams to support agentic AI workflows.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on Python development experience.

  • Practical implementation of Model Context Protocol (MCP).

  • Experience building MCP servers and exposing tools/resources.

  • Experience with MCP SDKs, including FastMCP or the official Python MCP SDK.

  • Strong REST API development experience using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.

  • Hands-on LLM integration experience.

  • Understanding of MCP transports, including stdio and Streamable HTTP.

  • Experience with JSON Schema and structured tool inputs/outputs.

  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, token-based authentication, and API security.

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployments.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.

  • LangChain, LangGraph, or other agent orchestration frameworks.

  • Amazon Bedrock or other enterprise LLM platforms.

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integration.

  • Enterprise observability, logging, and monitoring.

  • Financial services or insurance domain experience.

  • Experience with secure enterprise AI architectures and governance.
