Overview
Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior/Lead HR Workday Analyst with strong Workday Extend and Custom Application development experience.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and supporting Workday Extend applications, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently translate complex business problems into requirements and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex Workday HR and Business Execution initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and support custom applications using Workday Extend.
  • Analyze business problems and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Work independently to break down complex problems and develop scalable solutions.
  • Partner with HR, HR Governance teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
  • Create process maps, wireframes, and solution documentation.
  • Use PowerPoint to create presentations and communicate solutions.
  • Support Change Management activities and adoption of new solutions.
  • Provide recommendations and innovative solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, Strategic Planning, Consulting, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Workday Extend experience is required.
  • Strong experience with Workday Extend custom application development.
  • Experience building custom applications, preferably from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Ability to independently lead initiatives and work through complex business problems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with HR and/or HR Governance teams.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, process mapping, and wireframing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Workday HCM / HR background.
  • Experience developing HR-related Workday Extend applications.
  • Experience working directly with senior business and HR leadership.
  • Strong consulting and strategic planning experience.

Important
Workday Extend and Custom Application experience are the primary requirements for this position. Candidates should be able to clearly explain the Extend applications they have personally built or developed, rather than only having experience supporting existing Workday workflows or configurations.
