Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client that is looking to add a Business Analyst to their team in Saint Louis, Missouri (MO). This position is direct hire and 5 days onsite in downtown Saint Louis.

Summary:
The Business Analyst will join an analyst team within the executive organization and work at the intersection of business and technology. This role partners closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, product management, and technical teams to identify, document, and articulate business needs supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, and driven to achieve shared outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with project sponsors to develop business cases, define project scope, vision, requirements, and functionality
* Gather and document requirements through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and related techniques
* Collaborate with UX and technical teams to create process models, specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide architecture and development efforts
* Work with third-party partners to evaluate best-of-breed products and services and ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements
* Communicate and socialize business cases to build awareness of strategic initiatives and assess organizational impact
* Define KPIs and success metrics to support ongoing reporting and performance measurement
* Engage internal stakeholders to assess current processes, identify gaps, prioritize issues, and recommend business and technical solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
* 1-3 years of experience in financial, investment, technology, or analytics-related roles
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
* Ability to ramp up quickly and identify patterns, trends, and gaps across business and technical areas
* Excellent analytical, listening, and problem-solving skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and communicate with senior leadership
* Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new concepts and navigating ambiguity
* Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments
* Willingness to take ownership and step in when meaningful action is needed

Systems & Technology:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis functions
* Experience writing database queries and extracting insights from large datasets
* Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
* Familiarity with productivity, reporting, and technical documentation tools
* Python experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
