Detailed Job Description:
Windows Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong L3-level expertise in Windows Server Administrator.
Strong clustering knowledge, Server restoration, automation experience using Ansible.
Working knowledge of Deployment & Administration of Windows, Folder/file permission, Decommission of server and strong collaboration skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide L3-level support for Windows Server Administration in mission-critical environments.
• Troubleshoot complex OS, performance, SQL Clustering, File permission, storage, network level issues.
• Installing & Configure Microsoft Failover Cluster Windows server
• Perform Server upgrade migration on different Flavors of Windows OS
• Troubleshooting performance issue related to VMs and physical server
• Manage and support Windows Server ensuring high availability and business continuity.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Automate system administration and configuration management tasks using Ansible.
• Implement system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with applications, VMware, network, storage, and security teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
