Job Description:

Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, PySpark, Azure cloud services, and data warehousing. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data availability and efficient data processing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
  2. Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
  3. Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to support analytics and reporting.
  4. Work with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse.
  5. Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity across data pipelines.
  6. Optimize query performance and data storage strategies in the data warehouse.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, BI developers, and data scientists.
  8. Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for data workflows.
  9. Follow best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with Delta Lake, Databricks, or Spark optimization.
  2. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
  3. Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
  4. Exposure to streaming data pipelines is a plus.
