Applications Developer Analyst

Minimum Qualifications:

A. Academic and Certification

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience.

·       Power BI Certification

B. Skills and Abilities

·       Must be skilled in end-to-end development of Power BI software and integrated Power Platform tools (Apps/Automate)

·       Must be skilled in working with Business Units to translate business requirements into intuitive technical designs

·       Must be skilled in Data Modeling

·       Must be skilled in DAX and M language

·       Must be skilled in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) in Power Query and enterprise tools

·       Must be skilled in testing and supporting application software and managing the secure hosting environment within network infrastructure

·       Must be proficient in data cleanup

·       Must be skilled in making critical recommendations on the development of new code versus the reuse of existing assets to maximize efficiency

·       Solid understanding of quality assurance and integration methodologies

·       Skilled in managing the technical environment required to host dashboards securely within approved infrastructures

·       Skilled in component and data architecture design

·       Skilled in developing solutions requiring anal

·       Must be able to provide clear and effective training

·       Must be highly self-motivated and directed

·       Must have strong analytical, organizational leadership, and interpersonal skills

·       Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to adapt message to a variety of stakeholders

·       Must have keen attention to details

·       Ability to build partnerships and collaboration between individuals and project teams

·       Ability to work in a dynamically changing environment as well as the ability to work effectively while under pressure.

·       Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

·       Ability to present ideas and multi-task in an organized and highly efficient manner.

C. Experience:

·       A minimum of 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience

·       Full Systems Life Cycle: This candidate needs experience in the end-to-end development of Power BI software, ensuring that the centralized hosting platform and integrated Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) are delivered on time and within budget.

·       Experience with Technical Integrations.

·       Experience with Performance & Maintenance.

·       Experience with understanding quality assurance and integration methodologies.

D. General:

·       Office Automation/Productivity Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Word.

·       Native Connectors such as: Integrate Power BI with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL/Oracle databases, SharePoint, Salesforce, Google Analytics, APIs, custom connectors

·       Communication: Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experienced Toastmasters strongly preferred.
