Summary

Senior Lead Product Designer

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Lead Product Designer to define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of a large-scale enterprise platform transformation. This role will lead the design of a next-generation operations platform that supports fulfillment, inventory management, and retail operations workflows across complex enterprise environments.
As the dedicated design leader for a multi-year initiative, you will shape how frontline employees interact with critical operational tools and processes. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to create scalable, intuitive experiences that improve efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.
This is an opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, influences product direction, and enjoys solving complex systems and workflow challenges at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define and drive the long-term design vision and experience strategy for a complex enterprise operations platform.
  • Influence product roadmap decisions through customer insights, design thinking, and operational expertise.
  • Translate business objectives and operational needs into actionable product and experience strategies.
  • Reimagine workflows and future-state experiences rather than simply replicating existing tools and processes.
  • Prioritize design opportunities and tradeoffs while balancing user, business, and technical considerations.

Experience Design Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end design efforts across major platform capabilities and product areas.
  • Create user journeys, workflow maps, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Simplify complex operational processes into intuitive and scalable user experiences.
  • Design solutions that support employees across multiple devices, locations, and work environments.
  • Ensure a consistent and cohesive experience across a growing platform ecosystem.

Research & Discovery
  • Drive strategy and design decisions through user research, usability testing, field observations, and data analysis.
  • Partner directly with operational stakeholders and frontline users to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee productivity.
  • Transform research findings into recommendations that shape product strategy and investment decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and business leaders to define and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, alignment sessions, and strategic discussions.
  • Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups while advocating for user-centered outcomes.
  • Present design rationale, insights, and recommendations to Senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and delivered with high quality.

Design Leadership & Influence
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to designers and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead design critiques and foster strong design thinking practices.
  • Contribute to design operations, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Help evolve design systems and scalable experience patterns.
  • Drive alignment and influence across teams to elevate product quality and design maturity.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Experience Design, or related fields.
  • Proven experience defining and driving long-term product and design strategy for complex enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Experience influencing roadmap decisions and prioritizing design tradeoffs in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing systems thinking, workflow optimization, service design, and end-to-end product execution.
  • Expertise in user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and research synthesis.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication, storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience presenting to Senior leaders and influencing strategic business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing products for retail operations, logistics operations, inventory management, supply chain management, fulfillment, or workforce operations.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, internal tools, and operational systems.
  • Background leading initiatives that consolidate multiple workflows, products, or systems into a unified platform experience.
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of service design methodologies and operational workflow design.
  • Experience contributing to or leading scalable design systems and design operations practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and influence across teams and organizational levels.

What Success Looks Like
  • Establish and communicate a compelling long-term vision for a unified enterprise operations platform.
  • Improve operational efficiency and user productivity through thoughtful experience design.
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through research, customer insights, and systems thinking.
  • Drive alignment among stakeholders around strategic priorities and experience outcomes.
  • Support successful platform adoption and rollout across multiple phases and user groups.
  • Elevate design quality, consistency, and user-centered practices across the organization.

Why Join
  • Lead a highly visible, strategic product initiative with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Shape the future of operational experiences for thousands of users.
  • Influence product direction and business outcomes through design leadership.
  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders.
  • Help build scalable design practices, systems, and standards for a growing product ecosystem.
  • Work in a collaborative, design-driven environment focused on innovation and customer impact.
