Job Overview:

  • M&E QA/QC Support Engineer We are seeking an experienced M&E QA/QC professional to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring quality program metrics, analyzing trends, and working with applicable parties to correct any issues.
  • This role will also involve assisting with the development of on-site partner construction QA and QC teams, as well as providing training to personnel regarding awareness and quality procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, track, and analyze QA/QC metrics; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Support QA/QC team development, processes, standards, dashboards, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Interface with design, construction, operations, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct QA/QC audits for staff and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
  • Review MEP submittals, design documentation, vendor quality records, and turnover documentation.
  • Develop and review QA/QC deliverables (Level 1 5 CQPs, checklists, test plans, commissioning scripts).
  • Review commissioning scripts, start-up/energization schedules, and ensure adherence.
  • Track and drive closure of issues in BIM360; escalate delays as needed.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
  • Participate in FWTs and perform site inspections for OFCI/CFCI systems; document findings.
  • Validate testing documentation (Level 2 & 3) and verify labeling, signage, and tagging.
  • Support QA/QC reporting, equipment tracking, presentations, and training.
  • Attend project, QA/QC, and commissioning meetings.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience in data centers or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Strong mechanical & electrical QA knowledge; experience across civil/structural, building envelope, MEP, and I&C disciplines.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build project delivery.
  • Proven experience leading QA/QC and commissioning (Cx) programs.
  • Experience with contractor, consultant, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical power, cooling infrastructure, and related systems.
  • Hands-on experience with QA/QC tools (e.g., BIM360).
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work with XFN teams.
  • Experience with CSLA disciplines and commissioning processes.
  • Ability to lead, coach teams, and handle difficult conversations effectively.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and focused on quality outcomes.
