We are looking for a highly skilled IT Project Manager with a proven track record of independently leading medium-to-large scale software and infrastructure deployments. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience, a current PMP certification, and deep familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). In this role, you will leverage your expertise in MS Project to manage critical resource allocation and project schedules. Industry experience in banking or finance, or additional agile certifications (CSM/PMI-ACP), will make you a standout candidate.

responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- End-to-End Delivery: Proven experience developing foundational project artifacts, including project charters, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and comprehensive project schedules.
- Resource & Estimation Management: Strong background in forecasting capacity, effort, and cost estimates, as well as assigning and scheduling resources to specific tasks.
- Meeting Facilitation: Expertise in planning and leading status update meetings, cross-functional working sessions, and formal project reviews to track ongoing progress.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Executive Communication: Demonstrated ability to report and present project health, milestones, and updates clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Vendor Oversight: Experience monitoring third-party vendor deliverables and ensuring strict adherence to project Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Risk, Financial & Methodology Governance
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Skilled in developing proactive risk assessments and mitigation strategies, as well as documenting, assigning, and tracking active issues to closure.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing project budgets, including developing capital expenditure forecasts and reviewing/approving vendor invoices.
- Methodology Champion: Commitment to following-and actively enhancing-established project management methodologies, deliverables, standards, and procedures.
qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
o 5+ years' experience independently managing medium to large-sized projects
o Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
o Knowledge of Project Management disciplines
o Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
o Proficient in Microsoft Project
o Proficient in MS365 applications
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Strong organizational skills
