Workato Mulesoft Integration Developer

Position: Sr. MuleSoft Integration Developer
Location: Remote / Hybrid ( Edison, NJ)
Duration: Long term

Responsibilities

•  Troubleshoot and fix the existing integrations issues with source and target system
• Requirement gathering and build interface with business process for new integrations
• Should have fair understanding of  Health Care Domain business processes
• Experience in building MuleSoft and Workato connector 
• Experience in building JSON services on XML endpoint
• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft and Workato APIs and integrations to connect applications, data sources, and systems
• Experience with MuleSoft and Workato integrations to Salesforce and eco-systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business processes, and design integrations.
• Develop APIs (REST, SOAP) and manage API lifecycle through MuleSoft’s and Workato’s API Manager.
• Design and create Workato recipes and workflows to automate business processes and connect SaaS and on-premises systems.
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of MuleSoft and Workato APIs.
• Experience with designing/developing batch integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks to build pipelines, branching strategy and deployments.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing. and deployment.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to MuleSoft and Workato implementations.
• Document MuleSoft and Workato, including technical specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft and Workato technologies, best practices, and industry trends
• MuleSoft to Workato migration experience is plus

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in integration development with at least 3+ years in MuleSoft and 2+ year in Workato.
• Strong understanding of API-led architecture, event-driven design, and data transformation (JSON, XML, CSV).
• Experience with MuleSoft components such as API Gateway, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
• Hands-on experience building Workato recipes, connectors, and bots for workflow automation.
• Solid background in Java, JavaScript, or scripting languages for customization and extensions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD tools, and source control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4)
• Workato Automation Pro I / II or Workato Developer Certification
