As a Data Center Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying the hardware and infrastructure that keeps mission-critical systems running around the clock.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and resolve server, hardware, and infrastructure issues
- Install, replace, and maintain servers, network equipment, and related components
- Perform structured cabling, patching, and infrastructure support activities
- Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical problems
- Support rack installations, cable management, power distribution, and airflow optimization
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Assist with data center projects, upgrades, and hardware deployments
- Serve as a technical resource for junior team members when needed
- Adhere to established operational, security, and change management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum uptime and performance
Required Skills & Experience- Experience working in a data center, IT infrastructure, hardware support, or telecommunications environment
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and server components
- Experience with structured cabling and physical infrastructure support
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
