.Net Tech Lead/Developer

Locations: Fort Mill, SC | New York, NY (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on .Net Technical Lead to spearhead the development of high-performance trading APIs. This role sits at the intersection of sophisticated software engineering and complex financial markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building low-latency, scalable trading interfaces and possesses deep functional knowledge of the Wealth Management ecosystem.

• Architecture & Development: Lead the design and implementation of robust, high-throughput Trading APIs using .Net Core.

• Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of developers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and establish best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• System Integration: Integrate trading platforms with market data providers, clearinghouses, and internal Wealth Management systems.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize API performance for high-frequency data processing and real-time execution.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders (Traders, Portfolio Managers, and Risk Officers).

Candidates must demonstrate significant experience in Banking and Financial Services (BFS) with specific proficiency in:

• Asset Classes: In-depth understanding of Equities, Fixed Income (Bonds), and Derivatives.

• Trading Lifecycle: Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), and FIX protocol.

• Compliance & Risk: Knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer) workflows, and fraud detection systems.

• Security Standards: Implementation of financial-grade data security and encryption protocols.

• Backend: Expert-level C#, .Net Core / .Net 6+, and Microservices architecture.

• API Design: RESTful/gRPC services, WebSockets for real-time streaming, and API Gateway management.

• Database: High-performance SQL Server (T-SQL optimization) and NoSQL experience (Redis, MongoDB).

• Cloud/DevOps: Experience with Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Tibco for asynchronous event-driven processing.
