Job Overview

Fujitsu Intelligence is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join their AI and Optimization team. This role focuses on partnering directly with clients to design, develop, and implement advanced analytics, AI, and data-driven solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing experience, a consulting mindset, and a proven ability to lead customer implementations while working with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and software developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and technical challenges.

• Lead the implementation and delivery of AI, analytics, and cloud/on-premise data solutions.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver production-ready solutions.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, frameworks, and best practices for AI and analytics delivery.

• Communicate project progress, insights, and results effectively to clients.

• Work in Agile environments with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in a client-facing consulting or implementation role.

• Proven experience leading customer implementations and technical solution delivery.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience with software development tools including Git.

• Experience working in Agile environments (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives).

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor''s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms.

• Experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI frameworks (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, HuggingFace).

• Experience building Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.

• Experience designing cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience working with enterprise clients across industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, retail, or financial services.
