Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing end-to-end development activities, including code migration and deployment across Dev, Test, and Production environments.

This role requires a solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, integrations, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting a federal client.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform
• Customize applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and UI Actions
• Build and manage workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor
• Handle code migration and deployment using Update Sets and CI/CD pipelines
• Promote code across environments (Development → Testing → Production) ensuring stability and compliance
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
• Support release management and DevOps processes for smooth deployments
• Perform unit testing and support QA/UAT using Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform
• Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and deployments
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture
• Proven experience in code deployment and environment management
• Expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs
• Experience with ITSM modules, CMDB, and Service Catalog
• Hands-on experience with Update Sets, CI/CD, and release management
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government clients (Department of Interior is a plus)
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA (Certified System Administrator) or CAD (Certified Application Developer)
• Experience with MID Server, Discovery, and integrations
• Exposure to DevOps tools and automated deployment pipeline.
