Title: Senior React Developer
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (High likelihood of extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance front-end applications using React + TypeScript
• Develop real-time UI components powered by WebSockets and streaming market data
• Optimize complex data-heavy UI grids for speed, responsiveness, and scalability
• Integrate front-end systems with internal APIs and real-time data services
• Implement robust state management using Redux
• Contribute to test automation (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Partner with backend engineers, product teams, and trading stakeholders
• Continuously improve UI performance, reliability, and usability in trading workflows
• Evaluate and effectively use AI-assisted code generation tools

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in Frontend Development
• Strong expertise in:
  • React.js
  • TypeScript
  • Redux (state management)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Real-time data streaming / WebSockets
  • High-performance UI development
  • Large-scale data grids / data-heavy applications
• Strong knowledge of:
  • API integration
  • Performance tuning & rendering optimization
• Experience with:
  • Jest / React Testing Library
  • Modern SDLC practices (CI/CD, testing, release cycles)
• Ability to:
  • Understand how backend systems impact frontend performance
  • Explain architecture decisions in dynamic UI systems
  • Handle real-time data updates efficiently

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Background in:
  • Trading platforms / FinTech / Capital Markets environments
• Experience building:
  • Low-latency, high-frequency UI systems
• Familiarity with:
  • AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, code generation tools)
