Location: Baltimore, MD | Remote 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior MDE Development Support Engineer to develop, maintain, test, and modernize enterprise platform applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript, JSON Schema, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and application security.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MDE platform components, including JSON Schemas, JSON Generator, Approval Gateway, and Metrics Collectors.
- Lead technical design, architecture reviews, troubleshooting, and platform modernization.
- Develop applications using Java 17, Spring Boot 3.4.x, Maven 3, Node.js 22+, TypeScript 4+, and Python.
- Build automated testing solutions using JUnit 5, Mockito, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, and Selenium Grid.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
- Work with JSON, JSON Schema draft-07, YAML, PostgreSQL, and H2/Helium databases.
- Identify and resolve complex application, integration, database, and deployment issues.
- Address security vulnerabilities and CVEs using tools such as SonarQube and Black Duck.
- Establish coding standards, mentor engineers, and support production issues.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot 3.4.x, and Maven 3.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JSON Schema, and Python.
- Strong automated testing experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Experience with Jenkins, Groovy, CI/CD, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of application security, vulnerability remediation, and secure development practices.
