IT Security Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Define the engineering approach within an end to end technology stack
• Align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams
• Engage in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues within and across technology stacks on an end to end basis
• Create and ensure system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
• Provide and contribute to improvements in solution design, testing and delivery practices

Requirements:

• Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, distributed systems, and scheduling platforms
• Proficiency and/or knowledge of HashiCorp tools
• Proficiency and/or knowledge of Kerberos, Active Directory
• Proficiency and/or knowledge of coding against Rest API, JSON etc.,
• Proficiency and/or knowledge with middleware such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache etc.
• Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies
• Ability to code in at least two of the following languages: C#, .Net Framework/ Core, Java, PowerShell/ Unix Shell, Low latency Tuning, Open/Onload

Desired skills:

• Excellent written verbal communication skills
• Experience with spreadsheet & design toolsets (Excel; Visio; Sharepoint; Confluence)
• Technical aptitude
• Comfortable participating in/driving technical project discussions
• Requirements analysis
• Triage/troubleshooting skillset
• Prior experience with Client

Pay range: $65.90 - $73.90
