Network Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our network and security team. This role involves supporting local area networks, metropolitan area networks, and private cloud environments. Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
• Ensure current patch levels are maintained on servers.
• Assist in the investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical (Cisco) and distributed virtual switches (VMware).
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers (Cradlepoint).
• Monitor the team’s open backlog of support issues.
• Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
• Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.

Requirements

• VMware vSphere: Required, 2 years of experience.
• Server Administration (Windows/VMware): Required, 3 years of experience.
• Microsoft System Center Operations Manager: Desired, 2 years of experience.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager: Desired, 2 years of experience.
• Nessus by Tenable: Desired, 1 year of experience.
• Cisco Networking: Desired, 2 years of experience.
• Firewall Administration: Desired, 1 year of experience.
• Linux Administration: Desired, 1 year of experience.
