Database Administrator (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily database administration and operational support

• Plan, design, implement, and support enterprise database structures

• Monitor and tune database performance

• Develop and maintain DBA procedures and documentation

• Conduct SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL code reviews

• Support and mentor technical staff as needed

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex enterprise production issues independently

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts

• Design efficient, scalable relational database solutions

• Analyze workflows and prepare complex database specifications

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator

• Strong experience with:

  • SQL Server 2012+

  • Oracle 19c+

  • PostgreSQL

• Mandatory: GIS & spatial database experience (PostgreSQL and Oracle)

• Experience managing:

  • ArcGIS for Server

  • ArcGIS Enterprise

  • Cloud-hosted GIS services (ArcGIS Online, Azure GIS integrations)

• Strong knowledge of RDBMS principles, design, and best practices

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL

• Ability to estimate effort and manage priorities independently

• Strong customer service and stakeholder collaboration skills
