We are looking for AWS Cloud Architect for our client in Toronto, ON

Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect

Job Location: Toronto, ON

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
Lead cloud strategy, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices in a dynamic environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Requirements/Must Have:

AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure automation.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to lead technical discussions and drive cloud strategy.
Adaptability to work in fast-paced agile environments.

Should Have:

AWS Certified Security Specialty certification.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and networking concepts such as VPN and Direct Connect.
Exposure to microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Understanding of cost management and FinOps principles.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
